General Functions The Resident Assistant (RA) is responsible for a living area in one of the University residence halls or University Village Apartments. Reporting to a Residential Life Coordinator (RLC) the RA has responsibilities in leadership, programming, general administration, maintenance and facility administration, and the recruitment of staff. The RA works as an integral member of the Department of Residential Life and Fraternity & Sorority Affairs team and is required to utilize leadership and customer service skills as they assist students on a daily basis. This position description outlines the major areas of responsibility.
