Dr. Jennifer Foo, a full professor in the Finance Department, has been with Stetson University since 1990. She earned her master’s and doctorate degrees from NortheasternUniversity in Boston.
Dr. Foo was a visiting professor at Beijing Normal University in Beijing, China during her sabbatical in 1998, where she taught managerial finance and multinational finance. She was invited back to the University in 2000 to teach an intensive finance seminar course.
In the Fall of 2004, Dr. Foo received a Fulbright Scholar award from the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs to teach undergraduate and MBA finance courses in Poland at the Leon Kozminski Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management in Warsaw. Dr. Foo also taught at Vilnius University, Lithuania as an invited visiting professor for the summer of 2006.
Dr. Foo traveled extensively to different countries presenting papers in international conferences on international banking and financial systems and transitional countries. Dr. Foo published numerous research papers and was recognized with the School of Business Researcher of the Year Award and the Stetson University Hand Award for Research and Creative and Professional Activity.
