Bogotá COIL + Study Abroad
This faculty-led program combines a semester-long Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) partnership with Universidad del Rosario in Colombia and a short-term study abroad experience in Bogotá during Fall Break. By integrating sustained virtual collaboration with an in-country immersive component, the program offers a globally engaged learning experience that extends well beyond a traditional short-term study abroad model.
The course examines how culture influences communication, decision-making, and negotiation in international business and organizational contexts. It is open to students of all majors and does not require prior language study.

- Fall Break Travel: The in-country portion takes place during Fall Break, allowing students to participate without disrupting their full-semester schedule.

Together, these features make the program innovative, affordable, and easily adaptable to students’ degree plans.
