Stetson University's Master of Accountancy (MAcc) helps you meet CPA licensure requirements in Florida and most other states. Save time and money by pairing your Stetson University undergraduate degree with a MAcc degree. Qualified students can count up to two courses toward both degrees, creating a faster, more affordable path to graduation. This streamlined option maintains the rigor and quality of both programs while boosting the value of your education and career.
Why Accelerated Bachelor’s to MAcc at Stetson University?
The MAcc program is open to all Stetson undergrads, regardless of major, but it’s especially beneficial if you’re majoring or minoring in accounting. You can take up to two designated courses during undergrad that count toward your STEM-designated MAcc, helping you make the most of your scholarships and aid.
Courses are fully online and offered in eight-week terms, giving you the flexibility to balance work and school. By taking two courses at a time, you can complete the program in as little as 12 months. You’ll also receive one-on-one CPA counseling and free access to Becker CPA exam prep software, a $3,000 value.

The full MAcc curriculum is available to you online with an in-person option. You will begin your Accelerated Bachelor’s to MAcc journey by taking ACCT 406 (Auditing) and/or BLAW 407 (Business Law I). ACCT 406 (Auditing) is a required course for all accounting majors; accounting minors should take the course as an elective. BLAW 407 (Business Law) should be taken as an elective.
Undergraduate students that successfully complete one or both courses and earn a B or better are eligible to waive up to six elective credits in the MAcc program (three credits per course), reducing the ten-course program to eight courses.
Application Requirements
Stetson juniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA and one or two general elective credits remaining are eligible to apply. Complete the Interest Form to begin the process.
