Judson Stryker, DBA, CPA

Dr. Stryker has served as associate dean, chair of the accounting department, director of the online master of accountancy program, and holds the Eugene M. Lynn Chair of Business. He has also served as Stetson University's vice president for finance and has been a member of the accounting faculty since 1976. Dr. Stryker teaches courses in taxation and financial accounting. His primary research interests include taxation, ethics and fraud, financial accounting, accreditation and technology. Dr. Stryker received his D.B.A. with a major in accounting from Mississippi State University, an M.B.A. from Stetson University and a B.S.B.A. in industrial management from the University of Florida. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Florida where he has had an accounting and consulting practice for over thirty years. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alpha Psi and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Prior to joining Stetson University, Dr. Stryker taught at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and served in supervisory and management positions in accounting, finance, business systems, data processing, auditing and budgeting with the General Electric Company. He has received several university recognitions including Mentor of the Year and School of Business Teacher of the Year Awards.
