Note for 2021-22

WORLD is ready to assist you with any questions you have about study abroad! Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, WORLD prefers to meet with students virtually whenever possible.

If you need an in-person appointment, WORLD is available by appointment. During an in-person meeting, please be sure to wear a mask and observe social distancing. We will try to keep meetings short to reduce risk of exposure to COVID-19. Weather permitting, we may ask that longer meetings take place outside. You can sign up for a virtual or in-person meeting using the links below.

Your first step to studying abroad will be to schedule a meeting with our Peer Advisors. Peer Advising is available via appointment or drop-in.

Peer advisors are students who have studied abroad. They can answer any questions you might have, provide you with guidance and get you started on figuring out where, when and how you want to study abroad!

During spring 2022, you will find peer advisors at the WORLD table in the CUB (ground floor, near the coffee shop) during the following times:

  • Mondays: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. (in person only)
  • Wednesdays: 5:30 pm - 6:30 p.m. (virtual and in-person)
  • Thursdays: 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (virtual and in-person)
  • Fridays: 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (in person only)

Peer advising will not be available on university holidays or during school breaks.
