WORLD Peer Advisors
Your first step to studying abroad will be to drop in for a meeting with our Peer Advisors or email them for additional information. Peer advisors are students who have studied abroad. They can answer any questions you might have, provide you with guidance and get you started on figuring out where, when, and how you want to study abroad!
During Spring 2024, you will find peer advisors at the WORLD table in the CUB (ground floor, near the coffee shop) during the following times:
- Mondays - Meet with Zaikeria: 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.
- Tuesdays - Meet with Kaci: 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.
- Wednesdays - Meet with Courtney: 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.
- Thursdays - Meet with Anuket: 11:20 a.m. - 12:20 p.m..
Peer advising will not be available on university holidays or during school breaks. After your initial meeting with a Peer Advisor, you can meet with one of the WORLD staff members.
Courtney Cormier

Courtney Cormier is an International Business and Psychology double major. She has completed three study abroad programs and can speak four languages.

Zaikeria is a WORLD Ambassador, a member of the Peace Corps Prep leadership team, and a returning study abroad student. She was an exchange student at Padagogische Hochschule Freiburg (University of Education - Freiburg) in Freiburg, Germany.
Zaikeria is available for drop-in peer advising at the CUB on every other Monday from noon to 1:00 p.m. or by email ([email protected]).
Anuket Goins

Melanie Smith - STAFF
Meet with Melanie if you have questions about short-term study abroad, customized experiences with providers such as internships or research, or are not sure what kind of experience you want to have.
Paula Hentz - STAFF
Meet with Paula if you have questions about semester or year-long study abroad and exchange programs, Global Gateways, Rinker Global Scholars, the summer business program in Scotland, or the summer Asian Religions program in Japan.
