WORLD: Study Abroad

Student Testimonials

Morgan Egan

Morgan Egan studying abroad in South Korea

"Studying abroad was an amazing opportunity to expand my perspective of the world and learn from a new point of view. It was one of the best experiences of my life, and I would recommend it to anyone. I was really worried about finances, but the WORLD office really helped me by showing me places to apply for scholarships. Also, I got to explore so many amazing places that I never thought I would be able to go to. I grew so much as a person from this, and it made me better prepared to go after things that I want."

Antonio Alvarez

Antonio Alvarez studying abroad in the Innsbruck Leadership program

"Being a part of the Innsbruck Leader’s program was undoubtedly one of best decisions I ever made. When you’re abroad, you have the ability to do anything. You’ll make lifelong friends and go on random adventures that will stay with you forever. Classes themselves are extremely different than anything you can find on campus. While there are still assignments and exams, because of our unique location our professors were able to utilize our surroundings to better encompass their lessons. Whether it involved traveling to Germany to discuss the makings of a leader, or touring a professional soccer stadium and talking to members of the coaching staff, these were classes like no other. Closer to the end of my semester, class (which that day was a hike through the mountains) was cancelled due to bad weather. With a day given back to us, some friends and I threw together a plan, and before we knew it we were on the train to Italy!"
