Your Residential Education Team

The Residential Education Team is made up of Assistant Directors (ADs), Residential Life Coordinators (RLCs), and a Graduate Hall Coordinator. Together, this team directly supervises 56 RAs, coordinate and participate in departmental initiatives including staff recruitment and training, educational and social events, housing operations, residential learning programs and learning initiatives; participates in the campus' after-hours on-call duty rotation; serves as a university hearing officer; maintains liaisons with staff members from a variety of offices and academic departments; and assists with other departmental committees and initiatives as assigned.

Your Assistant Director of Resident Success & Wellbeing is a full-time master-level professional staff member and provides leadership for the residential experience by promoting student wellbeing, personal growth, and academic success. They oversee the Residential Life Coordinator and Graduate Hall Coordinator within their residential cluster and support initiatives that foster a caring, inclusive, and engaging community. Their responsibilities include overseeing the residential curriculum, coordinating student care and concern efforts, and ensuring residents have access to the resources and support they need to thrive both personally and academically.

Your Assistant Director of Recruitment, Training & Leadership is a full-time master-level professional staff member who provides leadership for the Residential Living & Learning student staff experience. They oversee the Residential Life Coordinator within their residential cluster and lead the recruitment, selection, training, and ongoing development of Resident Assistants and other student staff. Their responsibilities include preparing student leaders for success, fostering leadership development, managing performance, and ensuring student staff are equipped to build safe, welcoming, and engaging residential communities.

Your Residential Life Coordinator (RLC) is a full-time live-in master-level professional staff member who possesses a Master's degree and is responsible for administering a residential program for an area of residence halls or apartment communities of approximately 300-600 residents. Their responsibilities include supervision, student development, and housing functions in an effort to provide a residential environment reflective of the University's values.

Your Graduate Hall Coordinator (GHC) is a live-in graduate-level professional staff member who is pursuing a master's degree and is responsible for administering a residential program for a residence hall of approximately 150-250 residents. Their responsibilities include supervision, student development, and housing functions in an effort to provide a residential environment reflective of the University's values.
