
Graduate Business Admission Requirements
The School of Business Administration at Stetson University offers three master's degrees, the Master of Business Administration (MBA), the Master of Accountancy (MAcc) and the Master of Human Resource Management (MHR), plus four dual degree programs that pair the MBA with a partner degree. Admission Requirements
Every applicant to a graduate business program at Stetson University submits the same six items. Start with the application for admission, which opens your Hatter Portal so you can upload the rest on your own schedule. Review begins once all six items arrive.
Application Deadlines
Applications are due July 15 for the fall semester, December 1 for spring and April 1 for summer. International applicants should apply by June 1 for fall.

Submit the graduate application for admission to Stetson University. One application covers every graduate business program, and you select your program within the form.
A $50 nonrefundable application fee is due when you submit your application. Pay online through the Hatter Portal.
You must hold a bachelor's or master's degree from an institutionally accredited college or university. Submit official transcripts from every college and university you have attended.
Order transcripts through Parchment or eScrip for electronic delivery to Stetson University, or mail them to the Office of Graduate Admissions, 421 N. Woodland Blvd., Unit 8289, DeLand, FL 32723.
Provide the name and contact information for two professional references in your application. Supervisors, managers and colleagues who can speak to your work are all appropriate, and Stetson University contacts them directly. If you graduated recently and do not have professional references, academic references are acceptable.
Submit a resume covering your professional and educational history.
Submit a personal statement of 500 to 800 words explaining what your career goals are, why you're pursuing the program and why you want to attend Stetson University.
Additional Requirements
International applicants and dual degree applicants have requirements beyond the six steps above. If neither applies to you, your application is complete after those steps.
International applicants and domestic applicants who attended foreign institutions have additional requirements, including credential evaluation and English proficiency testing. Applications are due June 1 for the fall semester.
JD/MBA with Stetson Law
Start by applying to Stetson Law. After you complete your first year of law study, you may apply to add the MBA. Admission to the two programs is decided independently, and you must satisfy the entrance requirements for both.
When you apply to the MBA program, you may request that the College of Law send your transcripts to the Office of Graduate Admissions. Transcripts come from the law registrar. You will also need an official law transcript showing your progress in the JD program.
MHA/MBA with AdventHealth University
Select the MHA/MBA option in the Stetson University application for admission. No separate application is needed. Graduate committees at Stetson University and AdventHealth University both review your file and reach one admission decision.
MS in Pharmacy/MBA with the University of Florida
Start by applying to the University of Florida Online Pharmacy program. After you complete your first semester, you may apply to add the MBA. Admission to the two programs is decided independently, and you must satisfy the entrance requirements for both.
Send official transcripts to the Office of Graduate Admissions. You will also need a letter of recommendation from the University of Florida pharmacy program.

No. The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) are optional for every graduate business program at Stetson University. Dual degree programs have their own testing requirements set by the partner institution.
