Graduate International Admission Requirements
These requirements apply if you are an international applicant, or if you are a domestic applicant who attended a college or university outside the United States. Complete them in addition to the requirements for your graduate program:

Start these steps early. Credential evaluation and English proficiency testing both take time to complete, and you must apply 30 days before the deadline for the term or semester you plan to start.
Submit official transcripts from every college and university you have attended, along with a list of courses in progress that includes course names, course numbers and credit hours.
If your institution's grading and evaluation system differs from the system used in the United States, you must also submit an official translation and a course-by-course evaluation of your undergraduate or graduate studies. Use one of the following evaluation services:

If English is not your native language, submit a score from one of the following tests:
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) — 90 or higher on the internet-based test
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) — 7.0 or higher

After you are admitted, WORLD: The David and Leighan Rinker Center for International Learning helps you obtain your student visa.
Before the Office of Graduate Admissions can issue your Form I-20, Certificate of Eligibility, you must submit documentation showing you have funds to pay for your first year of study at Stetson University. Keep a copy for yourself as you will need to present it at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate when you apply for your visa.
