Business and Culture in Spain
This short-term, faculty-led program explores the relationship between business and culture in Madrid and Barcelona. Through academic study and an international learning experience, students examine how history, cultural norms, and economic activity shape business practices in Spain.
The course considers Spain’s role in the European Union economy and introduces students to industries such as tourism, sports business, retail, and food and beverage. By comparing Spanish and U.S. business practices, students develop a broader understanding of international business and strengthen their cross-cultural communication skills.
