Jamie L. Schneider is a seasoned Sports Marketing Consultant with 10+ years of experience in
sales, advertising, and traditional/digital marketing. Heavily focused on creating authentic connections between athletes, brands and their fan base, Jamie holds an extensive background in athlete marketing and sponsorship portfolio management, branding, and executing authentic campaigns that enhance performance in the market. Jamie’s passion for positioning clients and stakeholders for sustainable growth has rendered her recognition and a large NFL network including several Top 100 players, agents and Fortune 500 sponsors.
Born in Milwaukee, WI, and raised in Austin, TX, Jamie initially began her career in Chicago in advertising and media planning. Over the next decade, Jamie capitalized on her strengths in sports sponsorship evaluation and negotiation, data and analytics, and sports consulting. This includes working with renowned athletes, leagues, players associations, agencies, media, and corporate sponsors. Notably, Jamie’s history involves extensive sports consulting at The Marketing Arm, working as the Senior Director of Partnership Marketing with the Washington Redskins, exclusively managing the marketing of NFL Hall of Famer Tony Boselli, consulting for the famed basketball Pro-Ams - the Drew League and the ChiLeague, and elevating player exposure under 1 OF 1 Agency, previously tied to Lil Wayne’s Young Money APAA Sports. More recently, Jamie supports NIL partnerships and college licensing for a rapidly growing apparel company called The 500 Level.
Academically, Jamie attended Stetson University, majoring in Marketing and minoring in German and Electronic Business Technology. She has earned professional certificates in Sports Essentials and Business Analytics from Columbia and Harvard, and continuously keeps a firm pulse on industry evolutions to solidify brand growth and competitive placements.

Christina Speh ‘93

Christina Speh has over 20 years of comprehensive experience in Compliance and Risk Management in banking as a regulator, consultant and technology vendor. Her experience spans managing a multi-million dollar P&L, business development, pipeline management and resourcing strategic and tactical annual planning, leading bank consulting projects, new product introduction, managing off-site operations, outsourcing, contract negotiation, and public speaking on industry topics. Christina has in-depth specialization in CRA strategy, fair lending, HMDA, Consumer Risk, Compliance Program Development, strategic risk management, and development and implementation of automation to drive consulting cost down while increasing overall effectiveness.

Linda Swayne ’68, MBA ’71, PhD ’78
Professor Emerita of Marketing

Linda Eggeman Swayne retired as a Professor Emerita in 2021 from the University of North Carolina Charlotte after a long and distinguished career. She created an MBA program in Sports Marketing and Management at UNC Charlotte and received various awards for her contributions to the Belk College of Business and the Charlotte community. She held leadership roles in professional organizations such as the American Marketing Association and served on various advisory committees within the university.
Outside academia, Linda chaired the boards of several organizations, including the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas, Purple Promise Foundation to End Melanoma, and the United Way of Mecklenburg County’s Small Business Division. She also lent her expertise to the Mecklenburg County Medical Society and UNC Charlotte’s Athletic Department for strategic planning.
Linda authored 19 books and numerous research articles, with her work “Strategic Management for Health Care Organizations”, 9th edition (2025) currently under revision. It is the leading textbook for the capstone course in health administration courses. Her contributions have left a lasting impact on education and community service.
