Bradley McKibben Named Associate Editor for National Journal

The Stetson faculty member will help guide the publication’s efforts to promote excellence in counseling, assessment and evaluation.

W. Bradley McKibben, PhD, an Associate Professor and Chair of Stetson University’s Department of Counselor Education, has been appointed as an Associate Editor for Measurement and Evaluation in Counseling and Development (MECD), a leading national journal published by the Association for Assessment and Research in Counseling. His two-year term began November 10, 2025.

McKibben’s appointment recognizes his expertise in instrument development, research design, and evaluation. As Associate Editor, he will help guide the journal’s peer review process, providing feedback that promotes both academic excellence and emerging scholarship in the counseling field

A licensed mental health counselor in Florida and a nationally certified counselor, McKibben is an award-winning scholar whose research focuses on clinical supervision, counselor development, and emotionally focused couple therapy. He previously served as editor-in-chief of Teaching and Supervision in Counseling and has authored more than 25 journal articles and multiple book chapters on research methods.
