Annual Student Meeting

Yearly in August

August 14, 2021 - Tentative

Each year our department holds an annual student meeting. Everyone is strongly encouraged to attend as this is an opportunity for us to gather as a department to celebrate accomplishments, share important upcoming information and participate in required student workshops. Please refer to our Annual Student Meeting Page for more details.

Advancement to Candidacy

Yearly in February

Upon a student's completion of 18 hours of coursework, students become eligible to Advance to Candidacy. Faculty make advancement decisions based on the rubric criteria. Upon advancement, the Department notifies students by letter when they advance to candidacy. Failure to meet the rubric criteria at a score of three (3) or higher results in remediation of the student or dismissal from the program.
