The Center for Optimal Health Across the Lifespan is excited to share that its director, Dr. Jesse Fox (Associate Professor, Department of Counselor Education), along with Coordinator Ariel Chivers and research assistants Trinidee Mercado (Counselor Education Alum, Fall 2025), Paige Pei, and Milena Lorenzi Salini, will be featured in the forthcoming bestselling counseling textbook Counseling Today: Foundations of Professional Identity by Darcy H. Granello and Mark E. Young, scheduled for publication on April 29, 2026.

The feature highlights Stetson’s SMART Lab, showcasing it as an innovative, research-informed approach to teaching counseling students essential practical skills for effective client work.
