Course and Credit Requirements

Stetson has more than 86 areas of study, and a 12:1 student/faculty ratio. International students may take any classes for which they can prove that they have met the appropriate prerequisites at their home university. Stetson operates on a Unit system. A one-unit class is equal to 4 credits. Most students take around four classes per semester.

USCIS regulations require that all international students be enrolled full- time. All international undergraduate students are required to take a minimum of 12 credits per semester, whereas international graduate students are required to take 9 credits per semester.
