Florida Prepaid
With a Florida Prepaid College Plan, you can lock in today's college prices and prepay, either monthly or all at once, the future costs of college tuition, tuition differential fees, local fees, and even campus housing if you choose. When you're ready for college, the plan will cover the costs outlined in your plan at any Florida college or state university if college costs have gone up since you started. One of the biggest benefits is that a Prepaid Plan is guaranteed by the State of Florida.
Stetson University accepts Florida Prepaid as a form of payment toward your tuition bill. Florida Prepaid pays out at a state tuition rate per credit hour.

How to transfer Florida Prepaid
At the start of each semester, Stetson University's Office of the Bursar will bill Florida Prepaid for you. It typically takes 6-8 weeks for the funds to come through. They will automatically bill for 15 credit hours per semester so that, over eight semesters, you will reach the 120 credits needed to graduate. If there is any change in your billing plan, the account holder will need to provide a written statement. Here is what you need to do to get set up:
Send a Copy of Your Florida Prepaid Card or Statement
Fax it to the Office of the Bursar at 386-822-7126 or email it to [email protected].
Complete a Transfer Form
This is needed to transfer your benefits. The account holder or beneficiary must fill out the form and send it to Florida Prepaid either by mail or fax it to 850-309-1766. It takes about four weeks to process.
