Lua Hancock, Ed.D., is the Vice President for Campus Life and Student Success, better known as CLaSS. Hancock came to Stetson University in fall 2010 to lead the newly-formed Student Success initiative. Since that time, CLaSS has evolved to include a number of areas that collaborate closely to support students in their journeys of success and significance. She has over 15 years of experience in various aspects of higher education. She has a master of science degree in conflict analysis and resolution and a doctorate of education in higher education administration from Nova Southeastern University. Areas directly under Dr. Hancock's oversight include:

Dr. Hancock also works closely with the staff of WORLD: The David and Leighan Rinker Center for International Learning.

Lynn Schoenberg

Dean of Students

Lynn Schoenberg, Ed.S., is the Dean of Students within Campus Life and Student Success (CLaSS). Schoenberg has been at Stetson University since 2007, serving in a number of roles before becoming the Dean of Students in January of 2015. Previous roles included work is in wellness, mental health, and health promotion. Her Masters and Education Specialist degrees are both in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Florida. Prior to working at Stetson, Lynn additionally worked for National Kappa Delta Sorority.

As Dean of Students, Lynn serves as the Universities Chief Student Advocate. She also oversees the student crisis response system and students of concern committee. Schoenberg provides direct leadership to the following departments:

Larry R. Correll-Hughes, Ph.D., is the Assistant Vice President for Campus Life and Student Success and Executive Director of Residential Living and Learning. Correll-Hughes came to Stetson University in the summer of 2015 to lead the department of Residential Living and Learning before becoming the Assistant Vice President in January of 2017. Prior to working at Stetson, Larry worked in housing and residential life for over 10 years and developed a passion for intentional student engagement and success. He has a master of science in education degree in student services administration from Baylor University and a doctorate of philosophy in student affairs and higher education administration from the University of Georgia.

As Assistant Vice President, Dr. Correll-Hughes serves on the university emergency management team, student crisis response system, students of concern committee, and leads enrollment and transition initiatives for the CLaSS division. Areas directly under Dr. Correll-Hughes's oversight include:

Colin MacFarlane, M.Ed., joined the Hatter community in October of 2012. He holds a master of education degree in measurement, evaluation, statistics, and assessment from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has been involved in assessment, data analysis, and higher education operations professionally since 2010. His areas of expertise include data management, quantitative statistical analysis, and process automation.

Colin enjoys cooking, home improvement projects, working out, and board games.

Jennifer Merrell Certo joined the Stetson University family in 2005. Originally from Western New York, she was involved in higher education administrative roles at Niagara University, photography for various studios and documenting weddings on location at Niagara Falls. Jenn is currently taking Master degree courses concentrating in Creative Writing/English at Stetson and enjoys cooking, antiques & nature.

Debbie has been a part of Stetson University since April 2000. She worked in Media Services until August 2012 when she joined the Campus Life and Student Success team. She is a native of Orlando, Florida. Debbie and her husband, Bill, have a daughter and a son who both attended Stetson. They also have 2 granddaughters (future Hatters). She enjoys quilting and photography.
