Academic Success fosters personal growth and intellectual development, promotes an accessible, inclusive community, and supports each student along their individual path of success.
A one-on-one coaching experience that provides students with direction in academic areas such as time management, note-taking skills, active reading and test preparation. A success coach works with you individually to support your journey of academic success, providing support and accountability along the way.
Academic Success works with faculty, staff and students to ensure that all students have equal access to all of the wonderful opportunities at Stetson University. Students with disabilities can connect with Academic Success to officially register and receive accommodations, as well as receive guidance and resources to support their goals.
Tutors and Stetson Peer Instructors (S.P.I.'s) are highly qualified students who work in various disciplines to help students succeed in difficult subject areas. Students can meet with tutors or attend S.P.I. sessions to review principles, learn content-specific study strategies, and enhance content area knowledge.
Academic Advising encompasses a comprehensive support network of faculty advisors, professional staff, peer leaders and other administrative staff. The central mission is to empower students with the necessary information, resources and support to explore a full range of opportunities for academic achievement and personal fulfillment and the realization of their highest potential. The program's hallmarks include personalized faculty advising and mentoring, a supplementary Advising Center, advanced degree audit technology, and a peer leader support team.

The Academic Success team's hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, the Hollis Family Student Success Center is open the same hours as the DuPont Library.
