Stetson Trombone Day

April 5, 2025

On behalf of the School of Music at Stetson University, we welcome you to our 2nd annual Trombone Day. Stetson is committed to developing and supporting the highest standards in music education and performance.

We invite intermediate to advanced middle and high school students to join us for Trombone Day on Saturday, April 5, to explore our beautiful campus, make new friends, and grow as a trombonist and overall musician. In this day-long event, you will have the opportunity to participate in a group warmup session, observe a masterclass, rehearse in a mass trombone choir setting, and be featured in the final performance of the day for parents and teachers to enjoy. Our guest artist for the event is Jeff Thomas, Principal Trombonist of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.

The first 50 participants to register for the event will be entered into a raffle to win a free Sshhmute practice mute.
