Stetson Trombone Day

October 19, 2024

On behalf of the School of Music at Stetson University, we welcome you to our inaugural Trombone Day. Stetson is committed to developing and supporting the highest standards in music education and performance.

We invite intermediate and advanced high school students to join us for Trombone Day on Saturday, October 19, to explore our beautiful campus, make new friends, and grow as a trombonist and overall musician. In this day-long event, you will have the opportunity to participate in a group warmup session, observe a masterclass led by educator, clinician, and adjudicator Dr. Dunwoody Mirvil, rehearse in a mass trombone choir setting, and be featured in the final performance of the day for parents and teachers to enjoy.

The first 50 participants to register for the event will be entered into a raffle to win a free "D. Mirvil" mouthpiece by Giddings Mouthpieces, Inc.

Registration coming soon!
