Grant and Scholarship Opportunities Related to Community Engagement

Occasionally, grant and scholarship opportunities related to community engagement become available, either through programs at Stetson or through other service organizations and sponsors. Listed below are current and future opportunities. For details, please click on the appropriate links.

The Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Partnership Foundation (JRCPF) Carter Academic Service Entrepreneur Grant (CASE)

This is a grant in the amount of $1,000 to fund a proposed service-learning project. The grant will be awarded to the best student proposal that meets the requirements of the JRCPF CASE grant. This is open to any full-time Stetson student. The deadline for application is October 15, 2009. 

The Carter-Kellogg Scholarship Presented by Stetson University

This is a scholarship in the amount of $500 presented to the best critical reflection on a completed service-learning project submitted by a student. Scholarships will be awarded on a monthly basis. This competition is open to any full-time college student in the United States. The Carter-Kellogg Scholarship page contains information on how to apply.
