Collegiate Sales Management Invitational

Launching in 2026, the Stetson Collegiate Sales Management Invitational (CSMI), presented by Brown & Brown, is an annual event that challenges students to apply real-world sales and leadership skills through case studies and role-play scenarios. Participants will test their ability to strategize, lead teams, and communicate effectively, while networking with industry professionals and potential employers. The competition aims to develop future-ready business leaders prepared to excel in dynamic sales environments.

Competition Rounds

Together, the five competition rounds provide a realistic assessment of the core competencies required for success in a sales management role, including leadership, talent acquisition, coaching, strategic thinking and team development.

Students attend their first sales leadership event as newly promoted managers, building relationships with peers and executives while demonstrating professional presence and communication skills.

Students evaluate candidates through résumé review and talent assessment. They then interview a candidate for a sales representative position in a role-play designed to identify top sales talent.
