After high school, my boots took me from the North Carolina mountains across the southeastern United States, where I spent twenty years in Sales, Marketing, and Entrepreneurial ventures before returning to higher education. I’ve been responsible for opening multiple franchise car dealerships, like GM, Hyundai, Kia, and Honda. As a marketing profession, I’ve created content and managed campaigns for brands like Dish Network, New Balance, and Infiniti Motors, USA. I’ve also served in various crew member roles for shows like “Say, Yes to the Dress,” projects for HBO and TBN, and live broadcasts for FOX Sports. My creative career allowed me to be recruited into college admissions and recruitment. As of 2026 I have advise more than fifty thousand college students. I look forward to helping you navigate the college and career pathway.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies in Entrepreneurship and Religion as well as a Master of Fine Art in Creative Writing from Liberty University.

Favorite thing about Stetson
First, everyone looks great in a Stetson. I prefer a straw cowboy hat. Very versatile. Second, the small class sizes and educational philosophy at Stetson creates an environment where students are active in their education with Faculty, Staff, and Classmates who not only know them by their name, but know them as a person, their career goals, their dreams, and their needs.

Favorite Spot in DeLand
Palm Court with the Holler Fountain because my second favorite sound, next to my wife and children’s laughter, is the sound of moving water and wind through the tree canopy. In college, as in life, you will need to decompress. When I am on campus, I love taking a moment to sit on a bench in the courtyard, listening to the breeze in the trees, and the bubbling water. When you come for your campus visit the fountain is beside of our Admissions building. Take a moment of peace for yourself.
