Admissions Information for Counselors

Thank you for the work you do to support students in their college search. We have compiled valuable information below about Stetson University and the admissions process to help assist counselors.

Stetson University allows students to apply through our Stetson Application and the Common Application, both are free. We use a holistic when evaluating applicants. After students submit their applications, they will need to send us their high school transcripts so we can evaluate their applications fully. It is optional to send in a writing sample, test scores, and a letter of recommendation.

To be considered for admission, applicants must satisfactorily complete a college preparatory program in high school. The Admissions Committee is most interested in the student with solid academic achievement throughout their high school career. Overall, a holistic approach will be taken to both review students for admissions as well as scholarships.
