Stetson University's percussion faculty is dedicated to cultivating an inclusive and diverse environment for musical and personal growth. Mr. Johnson is a highly involved mentor with a genuine interest in motivating peak individual performance from both students and team members. Students gain the educational and performance knowledge needed to become successful musicians and educators through studying and performing solo literature, chamber ensemble music and multiple large ensemble opportunities. Graduates have a record of success in the creation and development of professional performance careers as well as holding teaching positions at middle school, high school and college music programs.
