Rainer Chan, M.D., Florida Hospital DeLand

Board Certified in Family Medicine

Rainer Chan joined Florida Hospital DeLand from Florida Hospital Centra Care in Orlando. Prior to joining Centra Care, he worked at Florida Hospital Department of Serology, Virology and Parasitology as a clinical laboratory scientist. Chan earned his medical degree and is a graduate of Pacific Union College where he earned his bachelor's degree in medical technology. He completed his residency with the Florida Hospital Family Practice Residency Program.


Rosemarie Latham, ARNP, Florida Hospital DeLand

Rosemarie began her nursing career in 1981 as an RN in ICU.  She has been a nurse practitioner in internal medicine since 1998. In September of 2013 she joined Victoria Medical Park's Family Practice. Rosemarie also serves as clinical director for Good Samaritan Clinic.


Suzanne Villalobos, PA-C, Florida Hosptial DeLand

Suzanne graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in nutrition and practiced as a registered dietitian before going to the University of Florida for a master's degree in physician assistant studies. She has worked in the DeLand community since graduation in 2002.


Cathy Rinehart, RN, Stetson University

Cathy comes to Stetson Student Health Services after a long career in school nursing with Illinois Public Schools.  She received a BSN from Illinois Wesleyan University. She is happy to be a part of the Stetson community.

Cathy enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, going to the many beautiful Florida beaches and walking her golden retriever, Chester Goode. 


Brenda Taylor, Medical Secretary, Stetson University

Brenda Taylor earned her bachelor's degree from Ambassador College. She worked as an administrative assistant and then as an executive secretary before becoming a stay-at-home mom to two boys. Once they were both in school, she worked as a substitute teacher and volunteered at Good Samaritan Medical Clinic, a free clinic for low-income people with no insurance.


Lisa Bennett, Office Manager, Florida Hospital DeLand

Lisa has been working in family practice for 15 years. She joined Florida Hospital DeLand in 2011 as a certified medical office manager.

Lisa has been married 31 years and has two grown children. She enjoys camping, fishing and spending lots of time on the beach with her grandchildren.


Clara Murphy, Medical Assistant, Florida Hospital DeLand

Clara comes to us from USF Rothman Center for Pediatric Neuropsychiatry at All Children Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. She has an extensive background in patient care and medical office procedures as a Clinical Medical Assistant, receiving training from Boston Reed College in California and HiTech in Tampa, Florida.

Clara received a B.A./masters in marketing and brand management from the University Jorge Tadeo Lozano in her home country of Colombia. She is currently pursuing nursing studies at the University of Ana G. Mendez Florida. Her philosophy is to listen to what the patient's need is and to act on it.

Clara is the mother of one daughter. She enjoys sharing time with her family and friends, likes riding a tandem bicycle with her husband, and is involved in her church.
