Spring 2021 Commencement Schedule

Wednesday, May 5

6 p.m. | Academic Awards and Recognition Ceremony

Virtual Live Stream

In recognition of the outstanding accomplishments of our graduating seniors and the faculty who guide them, faculty, staff, students and parents are cordially invited to attend the newly-reimagined Academic Awards and Recognition Ceremony. The ceremony is a celebration of the centrality of academic excellence: the core of the University's mission, realized in so many ways as teachers, learners, leaders, writers, innovators and artists.

The event will include

  • An academic address by Dr. Neal Mero, Dean of the School of Business Administration;
  • The annual presentation of the University’s most prestigious faculty and student awards, including the McEniry, Hand and Hague faculty awards as well as the McTeer Turner and Algernon Sydney Sullivan student awards;
  • Acknowledgment of premier student awards from the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Music and School of Business Administration from members of their respective faculty; and
  • A recognition of achievements exemplified through membership in Stetson-affiliated National Honor Societies.

The event will be live-streamed and available online, in real time, through stetson.edu/awards. Students who will be recognized at this event for a University, college or school award have been sent a formal printed invitation. We welcome your attendance in support of those who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement during their time at Stetson University.
