University Marketing Communications
The Communications Team is part of the University's Division of Enrollment Management and Marketing, and oversees media relations, the university's news site, Stetson Today, official social media accounts, e-newsletters, and the print magazine, Stetson University Magazine. Our mission is to support Enrollment Management, and communicate effectively with the internal Stetson community, external audiences and media outlets.
Whether you need to reach students, faculty and staff, or go beyond campus to the local community or a nationwide audience of journalists, we can help. We are a team of talented writers and editors who use a variety of tools to speak daily to many different audiences.

The Media Relations staff serves as the point of contact for broadcast, print and online media that need to find expert sources for their stories, gather information about Stetson University or plan a visit to campus. We also help facilitate media interviews for faculty, students and staff, and can provide Media Training before an interview. Stetson provides a variety of tools for faculty and staff to communicate with internal audiences. Stetson Today is the online source for news and announcements for the Stetson University community and the external community. The site's "Top Stories from Stetson Today" are emailed every Monday morning to students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents of students and others interested in Stetson University. Anyone can subscribe; simply submit your email address.

The Rolks Report is a monthly e-newsletter that is distributed approximately nine times a year to more than 35,000 faculty, staff, alumni, friends of the university and peer institutions. Featured stories include rankings, accomplishments, innovations, successes and other news about Stetson students, staff and faculty — all introduced by Stetson President Christopher F. Roellke, PhD (hence the publication’s name).

Stetson University Magazine promotes the spirit of the university through stories about students, alumni, emerging programs, new plans and more.
