Recipients
Corie Charpentier, PhD
Assistant Professor of Biology
"During my time at Stetson University, Dr. Charpentier has helped me not only thrive on campus but also find my passions and pathway after graduation. After a rough freshman year, Dr. C, unknowingly, helped me to stay at Stetson and give it another chance after considering to transfer and start over. She has helped me find courses that fit within my schedule and goals and guided me through my fast-track of 3 years of undergraduate. During this time she has helped me find resources, internships, potential jobs, and navigate grad school searches all leading me to be accepted into my top pick this fall. I can not put into words how much she has helped and inspired me over the last 3 years and can not think of a better nomination for this highly distinguished award!"
