NASCAR
diversity internship program This program will
provide meaningful opportunities for qualified candidates to work with
NASCAR's sanctioning body, NASCAR sponsors and licensees, NASCAR teams and
tracks, and other motorsports-related companies.
U.S.
Dept. of Transportation: Internship Program for Diverse Youths The
objective of the STIPDG is to provide college/university students with
hands-on experience and on-the- job training, working on current
transportation-related topics and issues. The STIPDG is open to all qualified
applicants but is designed to provide qualified women, persons with
disabilities, and members of diverse groups with summer opportunities in
transportation where these groups have been under represented.
National
Park Service: Cultural Resources Diversity Program The
Cultural Resources Diversity Internship Program provides a career exploration
opportunity for diverse undergraduate and graduate students in historic
preservation/cultural resources work. The program places interns with National
Park Service park units and administrative offices, other federal agencies,
state historic preservation offices, local governments, and private
organizations. Intern sponsors provide work experiences that assist interns
with building their resumes in this field.
CBS
Diversity Internship Program
CBS offers a multitude of internship opportunities in divisions throughout
the company that are open to all those who apply, providing they meet the
outlined criteria. CBS Communications offers internships to college juniors
and seniors, as well as graduate students who are interested in a career in
communications. Typically participants major in communications or journalism,
but broadcasting is comprehensive enough to interest students who major in
English, History, Political Science, Fine Arts, Marketing, and other studies.
PGA
Tour Diversity Internship Program The objective of the program is to
introduce the business of golf to minority students. The PGA Tour and other
major golf industry organizations seek to identify prospects for future
employment within the golf industry. All positions are open to men and women
of African-American, Asian-American, and Pacific Islander, Native American,
and Hispanic descent. The ability to play golf or knowledge of the game is not
required for many positions.

Fish and Wildlife Service: Conservation Careers Diversity Program While
all college students may apply, the purpose of the Conservation Careers
Diversity Program is to provide opportunities to groups historically
underrepresented in the field of conservation: African, Asian,
Hispanic/Latino, and Native Americans. Therefore, students in these groups are
strongly encouraged to apply.
U.S.
Department of the Interior: Diversity Internship Program The
Department of the Interior strives to increase diversity in its workforce by
providing internship opportunities to students through the Diversity Intern
Program. Interns work during the fall and spring semesters and summer months
for bureaus and offices nationwide. The Office of Educational Partnerships in
Washington, D.C., provides Department-wide coordination and oversight. The
Program is administered through four nonprofit partner organizations: Hispanic
Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), Minority
Access, Inc., Student
Conservation Association (SCA) and National
Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education (NAFEO).
