As a values-driven institution that emphasizes the importance of engaged and informed citizenship, Stetson University strives to develop the habits of citizenship that will last our students' entire lives.
Stetson Votes is a nonpartisan, student-led voter registration organization whose mission is to ensure that all eligible Stetson students are registered and ready to vote.
One of the most important - and most fundamental - aspects of being an engaged citizen is participation in our democracy through voting! In order to vote in elections, here are the three things you need to do:

Take the next step in becoming an informed voter! Join us for a Candidate Forum where you can hear directly from local candidates running in the midterm elections. We'll have a team on hand to help you register to vote or update your registration; remember that October 5 is the deadline to register to vote for the midterm election. Cultural credit available.

Get moving and get voting! We are partnering with Athletics, Greek Life, and Wellness and Recreation for a Stroll to the Polls. Join your fellow Hatters as we take a healthy, community-focused walk to our nearest early voting location at the Sanborn Center. The walk will take roughly 30 minutes each way so please wear comfortable shoes. Free boba tea offered for the first 100 attendees – whether you can join us to vote or not.

It's Election Day! If you haven't cast your ballot yet, today is the day. Stetson Votes will be providing rides to the polls all day to ensure every student has reliable transportation to cast their vote. We'll keep the party going all day with an "I Voted" photo booth, music, and food offerings! Stop by at lunch to try pizza from several local restaurants and vote on your favorite!
