Bud Hanson is a seasoned business leader that has filled many shoes over a 25+ year career. Currently in a "dream job" position that applies all this experience to help others fill gaps in learning, experience, and training through the wonderful teaching assets Stetson University has to offer.

Bud is not new to Stetson having adjunct taught several marketing and sales courses for the School of Business over the last few years. A seasoned marketing and management professional, Bud began his career with Nestle Purina after receiving his undergrad in Management from the University of South Florida. During his 15 years with Purina, Bud managed brands, salespeople and many high-profile corporate and consumer events such as the National Dog Show- all while earning his MBA and having a couple of kids.
In 2004 family reasons brought him back to his home state of Florida to start Fish-On Marketing, a consulting agency focused on experiential marketing where he worked with many Fortune 100 brands such as MasterCard, NASCAR, Major League Baseball, and Coke just to name a few. Bud also spent five years with Costa Sunglasses in Daytona helping build a cult brand through a unique marketing strategy targeting the outdoor and angling communities. And his second entrepreneurial effort, Tribe Branding, works with salespeople, brands, and businesses to educate them on the power of storytelling. All of these experiences and skills aligned perfectly with what we were looking for to take the PaCE program to the next level.
Bud lives in Ormond Beach, is an avid outdoorsman, remains a St Louis Cardinals fan, and when not in DeLand, you can usually find him kayaking the backwaters or on one of his many old-school beach cruisers with his wife Abbey.
