2nd place in Global Competition (CEO Global)

On December 3, 2018, Prince Entrepreneurship Leader Bryson Pritchard (sophomore) pitched his life-saving product the Dyad Syringe and took second place along with a $3,500 prize in the Collegiate Entrepreneurship Organization's Global Competition hosted in Kansas City, Missouri.

1st Place in Entrepreneurs Organization Pitch Competition

Prince Entrepreneurship leader Bryson Pritchard (Junior) placed first in the Entrepreneurs Organization pitch competition. Pritchard then advanced to pitch his product, the Dyad Syringe, in the national championships in Silicon Valley.

2nd Place in Southeast Entrepreneurship Conference (SEEC)

Prince Entrepreneurship Leaders students Chelsea Hage (Sophomore) and Kendall Buck (First-Year) pitched and advanced it to the final round of the Southeast Entrepreneurship Conference (SEEC) in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Hage, with her nonprofit Birthday Candles for Kids, took second place and a $1,000 prize.

Three Students Take 2nd Place in Entrepreneurship Simulation

Prince Entrepreneurship Leaders Wyatt Peck (Senior), Kendall Buck (First-Year), and Chris Chappell (First-Year) took second place and a $300 prize in a competitive online simulation where teams of entrepreneurs across the country faced off to see who had the best market place strategies.

Entrepreneurship Thursdays Bring in Star Entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurship Thursdays is a speaker series hosted by the Prince Entrepreneurship Leaders program. The series has featured former "Shark Tank" contestants, the founder of 1-800 Got Junk, and other prominent guests who have made outstanding entrepreneurial achievements. The series is not only a way for students and the public to listen to these great speakers, but It also allows students a way to interact and engage with these elite entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurship Student Wins $10,0000 in Pitch Competition

Prince Entrepreneurship Leader Deja Robinson (Junior) won first place, $10,000, and a year in the UCF Volusia County Business Incubator. Robinson won the competition by pitching her social media startup  YuubiHire This was the third year in a row that Stetson had won first place in the Cairns Foundation Innovation Challenge.

Prince Entrepreneurship Leader Second Place  in the 2020 Collegiate Inventors Competition

Bryson Pritchard (Senior) was named one of the ten finalists in the 2020 Collegiate Inventors Competition hosted by The National Inventors Hall of Fame. On October 29th, it was announced that Pritchard had won second place along with a $5,000 prize.

Prince Entrepreneurship Leader Interviewed on Live Radio Shows

On January 29, 2021, Entrepreneurship leader Kendal Buck (Sophomore) was invited to talk on the show In The Garden with Ron Wilson (55KRC in Cincinnati), and the next day she appeared on The Good Life on KNSS 98.7/1330, a talk radio station out of Wichita Kansas. In both appearances, Buck was invited to talk about her product Herbtastic (formally Herbie Rake). You can listen to the episodes in the links below.

Herbtastick Making Headlines

 

On January 15, 2021, Kendal Buck (Sophomore) received a full-page story in the Daytona Beach News-Journal. The article discusses Buck's inspiration and successes for her kitchen utensil Herbtastic (formally Herbie Rake). Buck Made headlines again in February when her product was selected as an "Ideal gift for cooks this Valentine's Day or Mother's Day" The article discusses the benefits and uses of Herbtastic while also discussing the benefits of fresh herbs.

Unveiling the New Hatter Angels Network

 

At the 2021 Entrepreneurship Expo, one of the main highlights of the event was the unveiling of the new Hatter Angels Network that will allow entrepreneurship students real-world experience doing due diligence research on startup companies for a committee of angel investors.

Two Entrepreneurship Leaders Win Multiple Competitions

Prince entrepreneurship Leaders  Nesha Mutuku (Senior) and Kendall Buck (Sophomore) have collectively won $20,000 in prize money within two months. Mutuku pitched her financial app Swally and took first place as well as $10,000 at the virtual Launch Your Venture pitch competition hosted by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Mutuku also placed third at the virtual REEF Governor's Cup Competition and took home $2,000. Buck, with her product Herbtastic, won first place and $8,000 in the virtual Frank and Ellen Daveler Entrepreneurship Program pitch competition.

Entrepreneurship Students Win $15,000 At Cairns Foundation Innovation Challenge

Prince Entrepreneurship Leader, Chipper Stempkowski (Senior), pitched his business YourCEtracker and took first place, $10,000 and a one-year resident enrollment in the UCF Volusia County Business Incubator. However, Stempkowski was not the only Prince Entrepreneurship Leader to place in the competition. Kendall Buck (Junior), Pitched her cooking utensil Herbtastic and placed second and received $5,000 as well as a one-year resident enrollment in the UCF Volusia County Business Incubator.

Lou Paris Wins Entrepreneurship Advisor Award

During the 38th Annual Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO) Global Conference and Pitch Competition, the director of the Prince Entrepreneurship Leaders Program, Lou Paris, was awarded the Outstanding Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization Chapter Advisor of the Year Award.

In the same competition seven students pitched their businesses, and Chipper Stempkowski (Senior), advanced to the final round pitching his business YourCEtracker.
