Upcoming Trip!
February 2nd: Aiguille Rock Climbing Center
SOAR will be heading to Aiguille Rock Climbing Center for a day of indoor rock climbing. Trip fee is $15 and includes transportation to and from the trip location and all equipment rentals.
The mandatory pre-trip meeting will be held January 30th at 5pm in the Hollis Center Classroom.
February 26th: Wekiwa Springs Kayak Excursion
Join SOAR as we head to Wekiwa Springs for a guided kayak tour! Our guide will take us to remote, unique and secluded areas of the river, not often seen by park visitors, where we will get "up-close and personal" with the river's diverse flora and fauna. You will also learn about the history and legends of the area. Trip fee is $25 (a discount of $10) and includes transportation to and from the trip location and all equipment rental. Sign up for this trip will be open February 8th through February 20th.
The mandatory pre-trip meeting will be held Wednesday February 20th at 5pm in the Hollis Center Classroom.
March 16th: Ocala National Forest Hiking Trip
SOAR will be heading to Ocala National Forest for a day of hiking, adventure, and fun! If you love the outdoors and adventure then this trip is for you! Trip fee is $10 and includes transportation to and from the trip location and all equipment rentals. Sign up for this trip will be open February 27th through March 13th.
The mandatory pre-trip meeting will be held Wednesday March 13th at 5pm in the Hollis Center Classroom.
April 6th: Brevard Zoo Treetop Trek
Join SOAR on our final trip of the Spring Semester as we head to the Brevard Zoo Treetop Trek. Treetop Trek is an exciting outdoor adventure where visitors experience nature in a whole new way— high up in the trees! Have fun moving tree to tree and challenge yourself with varying degrees of thrilling elements such as tightropes, crab walks, jungle bridges, nets, and best of all, zip lines. Trip fee is $30 (a discount of $14) and includes transportation to and from the trip location and all equipment rentals. Sign up for this trip will be open March 20th through April 3rd.
The mandatory pre-trip meeting will be held Wednesday April 3rd at 5pm in the Hollis Center Classroom.
