Stetson Renews Fundraising To Allow 4 Ukrainian Students To Remain Another Year

As the one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine approaches, Stetson University is renewing its commitment to four students from the war-torn country and starting another fundraising drive to allow them to remain enrolled for another year.

Away From Home, Ukrainians Find Peace At Stetson

Thanks to the Stetson Ukraine Initiative, four students from Ukraine arrived in time for the Fall 2022 semester at Stetson. They expressed excitement for the promising new opportunity, as well as pain about the war at home.

Ukrainian Professor Selected To Teach At Stetson

Olena Kolupayeva, PhD, is serving as a visiting teacher-scholar for the Brown Center for Faculty Innovation and Excellence. Kolupayeva will teach two Communications and Media Studies courses at Stetson during the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters.
