Fulbright US Student Program

The Fulbright US Student Program provides funding for recent graduates to study, research, or teach English in one of 140 countries around the world.  This is a very competitive scholarship, but Stetson students have been successful in recent years.

Gaither Junior Fellows Program

The Gaither Junior Fellows Program is a one-year fellowship where you will work closely with an expert on matters related to international affairs on their research.  You will be employed at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington DC.

James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation

The James Madison Fellowship offers $24,000 to fund graduate school for students interested in teaching the American Constitution in secondary school.  Applicants must teach American History, Government, or Civics in grades 7-12 after completing graduate school.

Knight-Hennessy Scholars

The Knight Hennessy Scholarship provides full funding to pursue a graduate degree at Stanford University.

Schwarzman Scholars

The Schwarzman Scholarship provides funding to pursue a Master in Global Affairs at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.

Soros Fellowship

The Soros Fellowship provides one to two years of funding for graduate school in any field for students who are immigrants or the children of immigrants.

Truman Scholarship

The Truman Scholarship provides up to $30,000 to cover graduate school for students who plan to pursue a career in government or public service.

FAO Schwartz Fellowship

The FAO Schwartz Fellowship funds two years of work at a non-profit organization in Boston, New York City, or Philadelphia to address social inequity.

Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship

The Scoville Peace Fellowship funds six to nine months of work with nonprofit, public-interest organizations addressing peace and security issues in Washington DC.

Luce Scholars

The Luce Scholars Program funds a 13-month experience including two months of intensive language training and 11 months of work in a country in Asia.
