The Byllye Avery Award for Public Health Advocacy
This award honors Byllye Avery by recognizing a Public Health student’s achievement in advocating for public health justice and causes including but not limited to reproductive rights, access to care, public health education and promotion, health equity, and women’s health during their years at Stetson.

The Paul Farmer Community-Engaged Public Health Research Award:
The award is given to a Public Health student who conducts community-engaged research by applying scientific methods to improve community health especially through engaging communities with low-income, indigenous, immigrant, or racial/ethnic minority status.
