Wellness and Recreation offers many recreational programs and opportunities, including fitness, open recreation, club sports, intramural sports and Stetson Outdoor Adventure Recreation (SOAR).
In 2009, the Health and Wellness Values Council and the Integrative Health Science Department created the on-campus walking trail known as "Hatter Tracks" to encourage the Stetson community to take responsbility for their own physical health and wellbeing. This trail, marked by the green and white "Hatter Track" logo, is a sidewalk based trail that is safe and can be uiltized during all times of the day (click on the "Hatter Track" title to see the map).
Club sports allow students to get together in a competitive environment and play the sports they enjoy. New clubs are forming all the time; if you don't find your sport, start a club!
Find motivation and inspiration by exploring a variety of fitness opportunities designed to meet your individual needs. Jump into your favorite class or activity, or embrace a new experience.
The intramural sports program strives to provide quality, diverse and engaging sports and events to the student community. Through both competitive and recreational environments, we strive to meet the needs of any student who could walk through our doors.
Stetson Outdoor Adventure Recreation (SOAR) offers a variety of programs, events and trips throughout the year designed to provide students with safe and meaningful outdoor opportunities that will enhance their college experience.
