27th Annual Wes Berner Homecoming Golf Classic

Wes Berner served as both the first soccer and golf coach for Stetson University. In 1973, Berner lost his battle with cancer at age 52. The Wes Berner Homecoming Classic Fundraiser was founded in 1990 to honor him and the legacy he left in Stetson Athletics. Proceeds collected from this fundraiser will be used to benefit the 18 Hatter sports programs. Registration will include a continental breakfast and lunch for participants, as well as other gifts and prizes. If you can’t make it for the entire golf tournament, you may also register to be a guest at our luncheon celebration. We look forward to a day filled with fun, food, and fellowship, as we honor Coach Berner and celebrate a very special Hatter Homecoming!

What better way to hype everyone for the big Homecoming game Saturday? Have a Pep Rally with the football team and cheerleaders from Stetson. Located in the same area as Hatter Village. Show your Stetson spirit and fall in line for the HatterWalk immediately following the Pep Rally.

Come watch as the football team, coaching staff, cheerleading squad and John B. make their HatterWalk to the Stadium! Starting from the South End of Alabama Avenue, the team will make their way through the crowds in Fan Central Station and Hatter Village. Bring your cowbells, signs and Stetson spirit to cheer them on!

Come cheer on the Stetson Football team as they face Butler for the Homecoming game! Special announcements and presentations during the game will be honoring our Alumni Award recipients and our Legacy Cup winners. A special Halftime show will include the crowning of 2017’s Homecoming Royalty and the winner of the 2017 Greenfeather Cup. Be sure to stick around after the game for the fireworks show!

Veterans Recognition Breakfast: Rinker Welcome Center 

All Stetson University alumni, students, faculty and staff who have served in the United States Armed Forces or have graduated from the ROTC program, and their immediate family members, are invited to come together in community for the 2nd Annual “Veterans Recognition Breakfast.” Breakfast will be provided compliments of the Student Veterans Organization and Pi Kappa Alpha, and brief remarks will be made at 9:45 am.

Stetson University Opera Performance Presents: L'Incoronazione di Poppea by Claudio Monteverdi: Lee Chapel

Direction by Russell Franks in conjunction Stetson University Chamber Orchestra conducted by Anthony Hose. One of the first operas to use figures from ancient history. It tells the story of how Nero's mistress, Poppea, became the empress of Rome. Full of intrigue, lust, ambition, and passion. In Italian with projected titles in English. Tickets available for purchase in advance at Stetson.edu/music-tickets or at the door.
