26th Annual Wes Berner Homecoming Classic Fundraiser
Victoria Hills Golf Course, 300 Spalding Way, DeLand

Wes Berner served as both the first soccer and golf coach for Stetson University. In 1973, Berner lost his battle with cancer at age 52. The Wes Berner Homecoming Classic Fundraiser was founded in 1990 to honor him and the legacy he left in Stetson Athletics. Proceeds collected from this fundraiser will be used to benefit the 18 Hatter sports programs. Registration will include a continental breakfast and lunch for participants, as well as other gifts and prizes. If you can’t make it for the entire golf tournament, you may also register to be a guest at our luncheon celebration. We look forward to a day filled with fun, food, and fellowship, as we honor Coach Berner and celebrate a very special Hatter Homecoming!

Come meet us at the Holler Fountain to take part in this guided walking tour, led by our current Student Ambassadors. Visit some of your favorite buildings on campus, learn about recent and upcoming renovations to the DuPont-Ball Library and Carlton Union Building and hear about the new Welcome Center at the heart of campus. Please register for these events to let us know how many groups to prepare for and if there are special accommodations you require.

Libby, host this campus-wide breakfast to honor several special guests, including members of the Stetson Society, Edmunds Scholar alumni and 2015 award recipients. A short program will celebrate the recent launch of Beyond Success – Significance: The Campaign for Stetson University, and include a university update and the presentation of Alumni and University Awards. Come watch as the football team, coaching staff, cheerleading squad and John B. make their HatterWalk to the Stadium! Starting from the South end of Alabama, the team will make their way through the crowds in Fan Central Station and Hatter Village. Bring your cowbells, signs and Stetson spirit to cheer them on!

Come cheer on the Stetson Football team as they face Marist for the Homecoming game! Special announcements and presentations during the game will be honoring our Alumni Award recipients and our Legacy Cup winners. A special Halftime show will include the crowning of 2015’s Homecoming King and Queen and the winner of the 2015 Greenfeather Cup! Be sure to stick around after the game for the fireworks show.
