Apply Online:

March 1st: Application deadline

April 1st: Deadline to withdraw from program without penalty. Any attempt to withdraw from the program after April 1st will not relieve the student of the obligation to pay tuition and any non-refundable costs advanced on a student's behalf including, but not limited to, housing, transportation, and activities.

Apply Now

Important: A participant's application requires an accompanying deposit of $200 for tuition and $100 for housing; these amounts are applied to a participant's tuition and housing costs, respectively. Once an applicant has been accepted, all deposits are non-refundable.

Your application is not complete until the application fee and enrollment deposit has been submitted. We cannot reserve a spot for you before these payments are received. These payments can be submitted through your online application. Please note that if you are denied acceptance into the program, your enrollment deposit will be refunded.

Stetson Law Student Applicants

  • Start your application online
    • Terra Dotta is the application software used, and you will need to set up an account with them.
  • Within your application, you will have several questionnaires, signature documents, material items, to include your program deposit.  Your application is complete when all of the boxes on your application are checked.  Your application status is "pending" until you pay your program deposit.  Stetson Law is billed and will collect all remaining balances less the deposits.
  • Your program deposit is $350. It breaks down as follows:
    • $200 for tuition
    • $100 for housing
    • $50 as an application fee.
    • It is not possible to pay parts of the program deposit. The program deposit secures your spot in the program.  You are not required to pay it when you start your application, but if the program begins filling with deposits and is approaching being full, you could risk losing your spot in the program.
    • Additionally, when you pay your program deposit, your application status is changed to "committed." This change triggers new questionnaires to be deployed to you, such as Passport, Travel Itinerary, and T-shirts.
  • Remit payment for balance due directly to Stetson Law by April 1st.

Financial Aid information

All of our study abroad programs are eligible for financial aid.  When you make your decision to study abroad, it is best to contact your institution's Financail Aid Office so they can advice you regarding their process to request financial aid for the study abroad programs.  Generally, you will complete paperwork with them, and they will send a "Consortium Agreement" to Stetson's Financial Aid Office.

If you are a non-Stetson student, please request that your home school financial aid office send a Consortium Agreement (which confirms the budget
for the program) to Stetson's Financial Aid Office ([email protected]) to be completed and returned to your home school.

If you have any questions, please contact the Office of International Programs at [email protected] or 727-562-7651.

Enrollment will be limited to 40, and applicants will be considered in the order of receipt of application and fee. The application form and a program deposit of $300 must be received by Stetson no later than April 1, to receive priority consideration. This deposit will be applied to the final invoice if the applicant is accepted and will be refunded if the applicant is denied. The final payment of the balance on all fees, including housing, is due April 1.
