About the Cayman Islands

The Cayman Islands are a well known off-shore financial center and tax-neutral jurisdiction. The Cayman Islands Fall Intersession Program is sponsored by Stetson University College of Law and the American Caribbean Law Initiative (ACLI). The ACLI is a United States-based membership organization, whose mission is to advance the common interest of its members in the growth and development of the Caribbean Basin by facilitating collaborative relationships and by strengthening its legal development and institutions. The ACLI is a consortium of U.S. and Caribbean-based law schools, law firms, and practitioners of which both Stetson University College of Law and the Truman Bodden Law School are members. Information about the ACLI can be found on Stetson's website and http://www.fcsl.edu/content/acli.
