Withdrawal Policy
A non-refundable deposit of $350 is required with each application. Applications are not considered complete until the deposit has been received. Upon receipt of the deposit, Stetson University College of Law promptly begins making accommodations and coordinating other program-related arrangements. Please be advised that this deposit is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
Unless a student is explicitly notified of their inadmissibility to a program, the receipt of the deposit signifies that the application is considered active and in progress. It is the responsibility of the applicant to regularly monitor and respond to all communications from the Stetson Law Office of International & Graduate Programs.
If a student intends to withdraw from a program, they must submit a formal written request to [email protected] and include a detailed explanation and any relevant supporting documentation. All withdrawal requests are subject to a formal petition process and review that may result in approval or denial. The $350 deposit remains non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the withdrawal petition.
Please note that withdrawal from the program—whether voluntary or as a result of non-responsiveness or failure to meet program requirements—will result in the student being held financially responsible for all program costs, including but not limited to tuition, housing, transportation, and program-related activities, as applicable.
