Student Employee Resources

  • Direct Deposit - Student employees are encouraged to enroll in direct deposit, which has several advantages.
    • Saves trips to your bank or credit union; no waiting in long payday lines to deposit checks!
    • Eliminates the possibility of lost, stolen or forged checks.
    • Pay is deposited faster and is available sooner, reducing the possibility of overdrafts.
    • Pay can be automatically deposited into checking and savings accounts, and you can select to have pay deposited into one or multiple accounts.

To set up direct deposit, employees can enroll online or submit the Direct Deposit Authorization and Agreement. Please note that, due to a prenotification process, it may take up to two payroll periods before new direct deposit requests take effect.

Students who select to receive printed paychecks can pick up checks at the Business Office. Please be prepared to show ID to receive your check.
  • Payroll Schedule - The College of Law's Student Employee Payroll Schedule lists the start and end dates of each pay period as well as the pay date. Time sheets are due on the last day of each pay period.
  • Student Employment Timesheet Quick Guide - The Student Employment Timesheet Quick Guide lists how to report hours and submit your timesheet.
  • Payroll Variance Form - If a student employee does not submit their time sheet by the deadline, an electronic payroll variance form must be completed for that pay period in order for the student to be paid. The form must be first completed and submitted by the student and e-signed by their supervisor. All questions regarding timesheets and payments should be sent to [email protected]. If your supervisor receives an error message when trying to access the form, please email [email protected].
