Nancy Tedeschi is an entrepreneur and the award-winning inventor of SnapIt Screw™, a stainless screw that comes with an extension that snaps off, is less than an inch long, can be twisted by hand and works from the top or bottom of the eyeglasses a time-saving solution to eyeglass repair. She brought her eyeglass repair screw invention from concept to the global market with little outside help.  Today, SnapIt Screw™ is sold in major retail stores throughout the United States, including Walmart and Office Depot.  To date, Tedeschi’s company, Eyeego, LLC, has sold over five million screws and 4,00l,000 eyeglass repair kits, which include the screw, to the consumer retail market. After bringing SnapIt Screw™ to the retail market, Tedeschi has licensed her product in the United States to one of the largest optical distributors in the world and is currently duplicating her licensing efforts in multiple countries where she holds more than twenty-five patents or patents pending.

In 2018, after having no luck finding a pickleball clothing line, we created our own and launched the first and only pickleball clothing label, offering quality active-wear skorts for the pickleball lifestyle. It became so successful she has added golf to the line.

Jayson Meyer is the founder and CEO of Synergy Billing – one of the 1,000 fastest-growing companies in the United States, according to Inc. Magazine. The company has also been recognized as one of only 50 Florida Companies to Watch. Jayson's entrepreneurial journey started as a teenager. His youthful success landed him interviews on Oprah and 48 Hours and in several publications. Founded in 2006, Synergy Billing provides revenue cycle management, provider credentialing and training for Federally Qualified Health Centers. Jayson is one of the founders of Innovate Daytona, a movement that is changing the ecosystem in Volusia County, Florida, to support entrepreneurship. He is the developer of The Fountainhead at Holly Hill, a 25-acre business campus that includes headquarters for Synergy Billing and several other companies that Jayson has founded, as well as daycare, fitness, and dining facilities, workforce housing, and a Community Health Center.  He and his wife, Misty, and their five young sons, live in Daytona Beach.

Ashley Lauren is a Stetson alumna and an entrepreneur in the competitive field of fashion. Ashley takes great pride creating modern yet timeless dresses for women with unique style and personality. Her company, ASHLEYlauren, is headquartered in Scarborough, Maine. Her designs have been worn by Eva Longoria, Mexican singer Lucero, Sheila Durcal, Chinquinquira Delgado, Lupita Jones and contestants in Nuestra Belleza Latina, Miss Universe and Miss World. ASHLEYlauren dresses are sold in specialty boutiques across the United States, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. In 2016, she founded National Dress Day and it is now officially designated on the National Day Calendar and celebrated on March 6th.

John Scheurer is a Managing Director at Siguler Guff and serves as the Firm’s Head of Real Estate. Mr. Scheurer oversees the real estate investment team and is actively involved in developing the distressed real estate strategy, identifying and selecting investment opportunities, negotiating and structuring fund and co-investment platforms, and executing real estate investment transactions. Mr. Scheurer has over 35 years of experience across all sectors of the real estate spectrum. Mr. Scheurer holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Stetson University and an M.S. in Finance from Benjamin Franklin University (subsequently merged with the George Washington University). 

Richard Gonzmart is a successful entrepreneur in the restaurant industry. His education in this branch of hospitality began almost as soon as when he was born. Richard is the great-grandson of Casimiro Hernandez, Sr., the founder of the world-famous Columbia Restaurant in Tampa's Historic Ybor City. Founded in 1905, the Columbia is the oldest restaurant in Florida, the oldest Hispanic restaurant in the United States and the largest Spanish restaurant in the world. Under Richard's direction, the Columbia has expanded from two locations to seven.

Orestes (Gino) Santos was born in Cuba, the son of famous Cuban composer Orestes Santos and his wife Hilda Santos. Gino attended Stetson University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 1989 Gino cofounded, with his brother Enrique, Premium Blend, Inc. Premium Blend is a producer of wine-based liquor substitutes which enables restaurants and bars to serve cocktails without needing a full liquor license. This innovative product was new to the market, and the Santos brothers were the leaders in educating the consumer of this product category. Gino attended the University of Miami where he earned an MBA degree, and also completed the Masters of Entrepreneurship program at MIT.  Gino currently resides in Weston, Florida, with his wife Yanira, and their three children: Valen-Marie, Gia and Gino, Jr.

Camiel Canters was born and raised in Curaçao and is a double Hatter. He graduated from Stetson University with a degree in finance in 2010 and a Master's of Business Administration in 2012. In 2010 Camiel started an apparel company called Flomotion. His business is based in Jacksonville, Florida and sells in 250+ retail locations and department stores all over the world. Camiel's connection to Stetson runs deep, as he has employed numerous Stetson alumni full-time and is married to a Stetson alumna! They have 2 kids together.
