Daniel McCarthy

Daniel J. McCarthy became President and Chief Executive Officer of Frontier Communications in April 2015. He was elected to the Frontier Board of Directors in May 2014. Prior to becoming President and Chief Executive Officer, he held other positions of increasing responsibility at the company, including President and Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and Senior Vice President, Field Operations.

He earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the State University of New York Maritime College at Fort Schuyler and an M.BA from the University of Phoenix.

Mr. McCarthy is a member of the Board of Directors of Constellation Brands, Inc. He serves as a trustee of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut and of Foundations in Education for the Diocese of Bridgeport, Connecticut. He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Western Connecticut Health Network (WCHN) and is a member of The Business Roundtable and the Board of Directors of the Business Council of Fairfield County.

He is a former Merchant Marine and Naval Reserve Officer. Mr. McCarthy is the parent of a current Stetson University undergraduate. He was elected to the Stetson University Board of Trustees in May 2018.
