Microsoft Teams Phone Service
Microsoft Teams is an integral tool in our workplace. In our efforts to enhance it, we are pleased to announce the general availability of Microsoft Teams Phone Service.
This service is offered as an alternative to our 8x8 app on your computer and mobile devices to simplify adoption and ease of use.
Simultaneous use of both apps is not recommended. We ask that you uninstall the 8x8 mobile and computer app. Contact us if you need help uninstalling the computer app from your Stetson computer.
We are essentially enabling the ability for Microsoft Teams to handle calls instead of the 8x8 application.
No. Your desk phone will continue to coexist with Teams, allowing you to place calls through the desk phone or Microsoft Teams.
All voicemails will still be delivered to your email inbox.
