Shadow Stetson Days

Shadow Stetson Days are offered on select days Monday through Thursday from September to April to high school seniors and transfer students only. You'll be able to shadow classes, have lunch with current students, meet with a professor in your intended major, and take a guided campus tour. Reservations must be made at least two weeks before your intended visit date.

Transfer Fast Track Days

The Office of Admission hosts "Transfer Fast Track Days" as a part of the information sessions and campus tours Monday through Friday at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Transfer Fast Track Days allow transfer students to receive an on-site admission decision for students who complete their Transfer Application prior to visiting campus as well as submit or bring all supporting materials including official transcripts.

Stetson "Hi-Notes" Visits

"Hi-Notes" visits provide a shadow experience for prospective music students with an in-depth look at Stetson University and the School of Music. You'll be able to follow another student to classes, participate in ensembles, have lunch with current students, meet with a professor in your instrument area, and take a guided campus tour. Please note the best days to visit according to your instrument below. Reservations must be made at least two weeks before your intended visit date.

  • Tuesday: voice, brass, woodwind
  • Wednesday: voice, brass, woodwind, string
  • Thursday: voice, brass, woodwind, string

Overnight Visits

Overnight visits with current students in our residence halls are available on select days from Monday to Wednesday. These visits are available for accepted high school seniors and transfer students only and may be arranged in conjunction with a Shadow Stetson Day.

Group Visits

We believe having groups on our campus is a great way to show future students the opportunities college has to offer them, though we do limit our group visits to high school students only. All groups must have an adult chaperone for every 10 students and must contact the university a minimum of two weeks prior to their requested appointment.

Upcoming Events

New Hatter Fast Track Days

Stetson University will hold optional New Hatter Fast Track Days throughout the summer to assist students and families in registering for classes and offer a hands-on opportunity to complete enrollment at Stetson University. New Hatter Fast Track Days are held from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Students and families are encouraged to attend at anytime throughout the day, keeping in mind the amount of time it may take to complete each task.

Our open houses allow you to get an in-depth look at Stetson University and all it has to offer, including meeting new people, sitting in on a mock class session, and getting a tour of campus by one of our student ambassadors.

This event is for any individual considering continuing their education in the master of science programs for clinical mental health counseling, marriage/couple/family counseling, or school counseling. The event gives you the opportunity to meet the faculty, ask questions and learn more about each program offered.
