Notice: We are closed Dec. 22-Jan. 5.

Our mission is to increase legal services available to the growing population of military members, veterans and their families in the Tampa Bay area by bringing together volunteer attorneys, volunteers from other fields, Stetson faculty, Stetson students and other community organizations. The four components of the Veterans Law Institute include:

For veterans who need free legal help with VA disability benefits appeals. Students who want to apply to the clinic should visit Clinics and Internships.

For eligible military members, veterans, and their immediate families who need free legal help. Law students and attorneys can volunteer their time and expertise.

For current and prospective students who are active or retired service members.

For anyone interested in learning about the VLI's outreach efforts in the community, legal profession and academia.
