Faculty Opportunities

Stetson University accepts applications for currently available full-time faculty positions as long as the positions are posted on the Human Resources websites. Please see individual job postings for detailed information on how to apply for an open faculty position.

A doctorate or otherwise terminal degree in the respective (or related) field is preferred; applicants with A.B.D. or masters degrees will be considered. Applicants should have experiencing teaching college-level classes in a liberal arts setting or a demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate students. A review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.

Adjunct Faculty Opportunities

Anthropology

Counselor Education

The Department of Counselor Education is searching for outstanding candidates for adjunct faculty positions. The adjunct faculty member would be responsible for teaching graduate course(s) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling; Marriage, Couple & Family Counseling; and School Counseling in our Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) accredited programs.

Qualifications: Earned doctorate in Counselor Education or related field. Applicants with A.B.D. or master’s degrees will be considered. Candidates must have experience and/or licensure/certification as a practicing counselor. Applicants with experience teaching graduate-level classes are strongly preferred. Mathematics

Primary responsibility will be to teach entry-level mathematics courses. Highest demand lies in Finite Mathematics, Business Calculus, and Introductory Statistics. Candidates must have a master's degree with 18 hours of graduate-level mathematics. Graduate-level courses in technical engineering fields qualify.
