A crowd of new students

Visit Stetson - DeLand Campus

We are excited to have you consider joining the Stetson University community! The health and safety of our students is always a top priority at Stetson. With health precautions in place and continuing to follow CDC and the state of Florida for group gatherings and social distancing, we will begin offering limited personalized campus tours. We are here to offer many options for you to experience Stetson from afar and on campus based off of your needs through your college search. As you are preparing for your visit or learning about Stetson remotely, we encourage you to register for a virtual information session or check out our virtual campus tour (we know it’s not the same as being on our beautiful campus). We are looking forward to having you #VisitStetson!

Explore Historic Downtown DeLand

Founded in 1876, DeLand has been nicknamed the Athens of Florida, a cultural center with six museums and the historic Athens Theater. Ten minutes away from beautiful natural springs makes DeLand a perfect location for spotting manatees, soaking up Florida rays, or enjoying homemade pancakes at The Old Spanish Sugar Mill and Griddle House. DeLand hosts a variety of events throughout the calendar year. We encourage you to see what's happening downtown before or after your visit to campus.

Not sure where to start? Ask your Ambassador tour guide about their favorite DeLand spot.
